It’s going to take FOREVER and the streets are going to be FUCKED UP. But yeah, that’s awesome.
Idk I mean, the street they’re planning on using is pretty wide and has a set of railroad tracks going down the middle (there used to be a trolley system way back in the day) and then they’re creating a new road specifically for this bus system that’s connecting to existing roads. http://m.fcgov.com/mason/max.php here’s the official city shpeel. The article in the paper I read said that it’s going to run about every 10 minutes which is pretty reliable compared to the bus routes now. I don’t use them often by as far as I know they aren’t that quick. This is also trying to connect the south of Fort Collins to old town and the campus in the north-ish end of the city. It’s quicker than the alleged date the light rail system will reach Fort Collins in 2050 and everybody knows that Sky Net will have gone online or only people in vault communities will be around by that time.

Ohhh I meant the construction. It’s a nightmare when they add on to our light rail system, but maybe the tracks already laid will help? I’m pro light rail fo sho, though. Just a bit bitter over living in a city known for constant construction :(
